1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FaithShield.ai (“FaithShield,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website, mobile applications, and related services (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FaithShield provides a Scripture-grounded AI-powered platform offering:

• AI-generated responses
• Biblical study tools
• Content filtering features
• Text-to-speech functionality
• Subscription-based premium features

FaithShield does not provide professional legal, medical, psychological, financial, or pastoral counseling services.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

FaithShield uses third-party AI providers to generate responses.

You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies.
• Responses are for informational and spiritual enrichment purposes only.
• FaithShield does not guarantee theological completeness or denominational alignment.
• You are responsible for evaluating the accuracy and suitability of any content.

The Service is not a substitute for clergy, licensed professionals, or pastoral leadership.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

For institutional accounts (churches, schools), you represent that you have authority to bind the organization.

5. Account Registration

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
• Notify us of unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

6. Subscription & Billing

A. Subscription Plans

FaithShield offers paid subscription tiers, billed monthly or annually. Pricing is displayed within the app or website and may change with notice.

B. Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe and managed via RevenueCat. We do not store full credit card information.

C. Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled prior to the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or applicable app store.

7. Refund Policy

Monthly Subscriptions

Refunds are not automatically provided for partial subscription periods. However, we may provide refunds at our discretion if requested within 7 days of the initial purchase.

Annual Subscriptions

Refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase. After this period, refunds are generally not issued.

App Store Purchases

If purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds must be requested directly through the respective platform.

FaithShield reserves the right to deny refund requests that violate this policy or involve abuse.

8. Institutional Accounts

Churches, schools, and enterprise clients may enter separate agreements governing seat licenses, administrative control, content moderation, and billing terms. In the event of conflict, institutional agreements control.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Interfere with system integrity
• Submit abusive, harmful, or illegal content
• Use the Service to generate harmful or unlawful material

We may suspend accounts violating these rules.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software, and design elements are owned by FaithShield or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit the Service without written permission.

11. User Content

You retain ownership of your submitted content. By submitting content, you grant FaithShield a limited license to process and store it for service delivery purposes. We do not claim ownership of your submissions.

12. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify features, suspend access, update systems, or remove content without prior notice.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

We disclaim all warranties, including:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy of AI responses

We do not guarantee error-free operation, continuous availability, or specific outcomes.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: FaithShield shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to FaithShield in the preceding 12 months.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FaithShield and its officers, employees, and partners from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

16. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access for Terms violations, suspected fraud, non-payment, or at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

17. Arbitration & Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Nevada, except where prohibited by law. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nevada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

19. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance.
